Said goodbye to the Stoniers yesterday as they headed to Rome and then home. What a gift it was having them here for both us and the kids. Family. Is. Everything.
So I am a huge fan of baseball. Have been since I was born. I know watching it feels like paint drying, but for some reason, to me, every single pitch carries a hint of anxiety and excitement. The Giants 'win-or-go-home' wild card game was slotted for 2am my time. After heavy espresso and an open bottle of Barolo by my side I was ready to watch the game. In the 9th inning the Giants exploded a 3run bomb and we are moving on to the playoffs! I cannot wait to watch the games with the kids!
